The 'Daily Driver' is our everyday sipper that we serve as our house drip in the Dose flagship café (although it works equally well on espresso!). Grown in the Luya Province of Peru, this Fairtrade Organic certified coffee tastes like caramel, shortbread and pecan. It's a super sessionable coffee with a moreish syrupy mouthfeel. It's great black or with your choice of milk.
The beans for this coffee are contributed by the Cooperativa Cafeteria Laguna de los Condores. These farmers live and grow their coffee at such high altitudes (1800-2300m above sea level!), that they share the skies with condors. Legend says their ancestors, the Chillaos, were the first people to cultivate coffee at such altitudes.
The remoteness of the farms and small scale of their production means that cooperatives like Laguna de los Condores offer their members access to the specialty market and the opportunity to get better prices for their coffees.
