If you like dark roasted coffee this one’s for you!
The RDR has everything you hope to find in a dark roasted coffee; full bodied, strong, dark chocolate and still some sweet notes of brown sugar and blackberries. Think black forest gateau with just a hint of smoke...
It pairs perfectly with cream and milk or can also be enjoyed straight. It has low acidity and a big mouth feel.
We take just as much care with our dark roast as we do with every other, we really enjoyed developing this product. Revelstoke this ones for you!
Brew method:
We roast this coffee darkand it is best enjoyed as a filter or as an espresso.
For filter, we recommend using a 16:1 water to coffee ratio (for example when using 20 grams of coffee, brew with 320ml of water) and a medium coarse grind.
For espresso, we recommend using a 2.5:1 yield to dose ratio (for example 18 grams of coffee to make a 45 ml espresso), using a fine grind and aiming for a 30 second shot time.
